HechtSolberg has hired two new associates, Sara Vakulskas and Talon Powers.
Vakulskas is expected to play an active role in all of the firm’s practice areas, including land use, planning and entitlements and common interest developments. She is a member of the Lawyers Club of San Diego and the San Diego Building Industry Association’s y|GEN council for young professionals.
Powers is also expected to support the firm’s different practice groups, with particular emphasis on litigation, risk management and transactional matters in real estate, business and finance. Prior to joining the California Monitor Program as a staff attorney, Powers was a Clinic Fellow who helped monitor the National Mortgage Settlement (NMS) on behalf of the California Attorney General.
Both new HechtSolberg associates were admitted to the State Bar of California in 2014 and are graduates of the University of Minnesota Law School.
